The ancestor of Vision-Ère Optometry Clinic, was born on August 19th 1962. At the time the clinic was named “Optique Val-d’Or”, and was owned by Dr. Lionel Brochu.

In May 1993, Dr. Brochu’s clinic is bought back and, then becomes, a 100% franchise owned by regional optometrists.

On December 1st 2013, more precisely, Caroline Coulombe, doctor in optometry, owner for 18 years decides not to renew her contract with the franchise. The clinic is now managed independently under the name: Vision-Ère Optometry Clinic. Always the same competent staff, but whose management depends on Dr. Coulombe’s decisions and her managers. Our team can count on six optometrists, one optician and more than 20 employees.

Vision-Ère Optometry Clinic is an enterprise in the forefront, in visual care. We provide eye exam services, advices and sales regarding a complete collection of glasses, sunglasses with or without prescription, contact lenses also safety glasses for workers. We as well provide our expertise regarding laser surgery and for everything concerning visual health, so that your vision always remains the best.

Every year, a series of training, is given to our employees, to remain the best in what we do. As the field of visual care is in constant evolution, professional training allows us to perfect in the large field of new technology and technique which is more and more advanced. We, constantly wish to improve how we work and our knowledge, so we can offer our clients the most professional and personalized possible service. The client must feel comfortable with the employees and know what they’re talking about.

At Vision-Ère, we offer our clients, “to take part” in our event days. They consist in, inviting representatives of various companies to present that complete collection of frames. It is a nice opportunity, for us, to promote our new collection of frames to our customers. Also, during those days. Our clients have a chance, to see different fashion frames, generally from the creators, without travelling to the big urban centers. On the event days, the representative is “on the spot” and the customers can benefit from his expertise on the manufacturing characteristics of his frames. Those days: “Vision-Ère Frames”, also allow us, to share with our clients, our love for fashion and give them the possibility to try a multitude of frames of all colours and possible sizes. Our customers can also benefit from these tempting promotions.

As we all know, wearing glasses is not only a question of fashion. Glasses are essential for a good visual comfort, a better quality of life because they help us learning in the very best way.
